Rina Padua is a Harvard STRIDE Fellow based at Greater Boston Legal Services developing tools that would assist self-represented litigants, advocates, and underserved communities at large. Her long-term commitment to access to justice began with her involvement at Harvard Legal Aid Bureau where she researched and worked on enhancing self-help materials that would increase user readability through effective designs and visuals. She has now expanded her advocacy efforts by implementing this approach in emerging technology to serve vulnerable populations. Rina served as Canvassing Director for Project No One Leaves, a student practice organization at Harvard Law School, and has experience in community organizing and outreach in low-income neighborhoods at risk of unjust eviction and gentrification. Rina received her bachelor’s from Harvard University in 2017.
