Lisa Stansky became website coordinator with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services in 2007. She administers LouisianaLawHelp.org and its LiveHelp service, probono.net/la, slls.org, and related projects to help deliver legal information to the public and the advocates who serve them. Her past TIG projects include automation of court forms, development of free and low-cost multimedia resources, instituting English and Spanish mobile versions of LouisianaLawHelp.org, and creating interactive online training resources for the state's civil legal aid community. SLLS' newest TIG project supports development of automated forms and companion resources to make it easier for librarians to help self-represented people. These projects tap into every phase of Lisa’s career. She went straight from Yale Law School to New Orleans and a post as a staff attorney with New Orleans Legal Assistance Corporation (now Southeast Louisiana Legal Services). Her later work as a journalist included coverage of law, business, travel and other topics for national newspapers and magazines. She enjoyed her time as an attorney with a major law firm before returning to public interest work with Southeast Louisiana Legal Services.
