Heidi Uecker graduated from the University of North Dakota School of law in 2000. She practiced law in East St. Louis, IL from 2000 until 2004, where she represented hundreds of victims of DV in a VAWA funded courtroom.

Heidi was hired as a staff attorney with Legal Services of Northwest Minnesota, in 2004. She specializes in the practice of domestic violence law, public housing, private housing and mobile home park law. She is the current Moorhead Office Supervising Attorney and LSNM Director of Advocacy.

She is involved in a number of community groups and committees which aim to improve the lives of the minorities, the poor and the elderly.
