Cutting Through the Code: Engaging Non-Techies in Tech Projects

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

From ideation to implementation, engagement from non-technical staff and partners is essential to the success of any technology project. Non-techie stakeholders can include program leadership, legal aid attorneys and paralegals, and community partners. Their feedback and buy-in directly influences how well-grounded a tech innovation is in real-life user needs as well as the likelihood of adoption. This session will explore the trials and tribulations of engaging non-tech partners, what steps in the project life cycle this is critical, and communication and prototyping methods for educating people about complex technology concepts and building support for your project.
