The Legal Services Corporation supports grantees in creating technology solutions to assist low-income communities prepare for and respond to disasters. The panel will discuss why legal services are needed in disaster response and recovery and highlight new technologies that improve the effectiveness and efficiency of these models. Technologies include mobile applications, animated volunteer attorney training videos, disaster law websites, and geographical information system mapping specifically related to flooding in low-income communities.
