What’s New in Triage? Updates from Projects in FL, ME, MI and AU

Log in to save this to your schedule, view media, leave feedback and see who's attending!

The concept of triage for people seeking legal assistance - directing people to only the most appropriate and available resources for them along the continuum of all possible levels of service - is not new. However, there have been some interesting and different ways these triage systems have been designed and built in the last few years. Come and hear more about Florida’s pilot project that was fully integrated with the legal aid and the courts; what updates and changes Maine made to their project after two years; Michigan’s newly launched system that integrates with legal aid and state bar resources; and Australia's Justice Connect project. You’ll leave with fresh ideas about triage, lessons learned through the building and evaluation processes of the presenters, and possibly with plans for implementing or modifying a triage project in your own jurisdiction.
